For three Sundays at the end of last year, UK viewers were treated to a spectacular sideways look into how a global catastrophe in the world of Doctor Who might unfold if the TARDIS didn’t turn up. Kate Lethbridge-Stewart has to wrangle whatever leverage she can muster to prevent an all-out war between humanity and a civilisation that has emerged from under the sea! In the end tragedy and triumph revolves around a bond formed between everyman Barclay and Homo Aqua’s ambassador Salt.
Bringing all this drama to life was an extraordinary score from prolific film and TV composer Lorne Balfe. This original television soundtrack gathers together his evocative music, including tracks such as Barclay’s Theme, Into the Unknown and Goldfrapp’s cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes”.
The soundtrack is available on CD and as a download, but we have FIVE copies on CD to give away. Just send us the answer to the following question.
