BBC Audio has released a soundtrack of Bill Strutton’s 1965 serial The Web Planet, starring William Hartnell as the Doctor. It’s narrated by Maureen O’Brien, who plays Vicki.

A strange magnetic force pulls the TARDIS down to the craterous surface of Vortis. The Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Vicki learn that the planet has been invaded and that the parasitic Animus is slowly enveloping it. The giant ant-like Zarbi are under its control, while the butterfly-like Menoptra are battling to reclaim their world…
