It’s 30 years since the beginning of The Missing Adventures range which, for the first time (barring a few choose your own adventure books) presented original novels featuring the first six Doctors.

The range kicked off with Goth Opera, written by Paul Cornell who had made a name for himself with a run of popular New Adventures novels featuring the Seventh Doctor. Paul would go on to write Father’s Day (2005) and Human Nature/The Family of Blood (2007) for the TV series.

Adapted for audio by Lizbeth Myles, this Fifth Doctor vampire tale stars Natalie Gumede (Last Christmas) as Time Lady Ruath and Richard Armitage as Rassilon, alongside regulars Peter Davison, Janet Fielding and Sarah Sutton.

Goth Opera is available from bigfinish.com (£22.99 for CD and download, £18.99 download only). To be in with a chance of winning one of FIVE copies, send us the answer to this question:
