Season 1 of Blake’s 7 was written by series’ creator Terry Nation – familiar to DWM readers, not least as the man who gave us the Daleks. He continued to be involved in the second season – first aired in 1979 – but the show’s script editor Chris Boucher (responsible for three Doctor Whos including the much loved Robots of Death) and Who legend Robert Holmes also contributed scripts.
All 13 episodes of Season 2 are now being released on Blu-ray, accompanied by a range of special features. These include interviews with Brian Croucher (who plays Travis in Season 2) and designer Roger Murray-Leach; a tribute to Jacqueline Pearce (who played the villainous Servalan); and audio commentaries.
Blake’s 7: The Collection – Season 2 is available from 10 November from the usual retailers, but we have FIVE on offer.
